Proverb · story
“Ati danad balir baddhah” — Bali was bound by too much giving.
Even a good thing, given without measure, can bind us. Give and spend, but within what was planned.
Mind
- The mind leans to money worries; spend only on what was planned.
- Mercury helps: clear thinking and good words; good for study, writing and talks.
Work, money, home
- Sun lends confidence: your effort at work is visible; take the lead where you can.
- Jupiter’s blessing: steady income and good advice; good for savings and learning.
- Saturn is steady for you: discipline and routine bring results; keep going.
Relationships, family
- Venus is weak for you: avoid misunderstandings with your partner; skip luxury spending.
- Mars can make words sharp: keep your temper and speak softly at home.
Health
- Drink enough water and avoid very spicy food; slow down when driving.
- Good staying power; a long task will not tire you.
- A few minutes of pranayama keeps the day steady.

Questions
What is Makara rashi phalalu today?
23 Oct 2026: Go slow, overall 3 out of 5. The Moon is in the 2nd house from Makara. Mind 2/5, work 4/5, money 3/5, family 1/5, health 3/5.
How is it calculated?
By the classical gochara (transit) rules: each of the nine grahas is counted from your rashi (your Moon sign at birth) and judged favourable or not by the house it occupies today. The Moon decides the day’s verdict; the others colour mind, work, money, family and health. Positions come from the same Drik Ganita engine as the panchang.
Is this my personal horoscope?
No. It is general guidance for everyone with this Moon sign, not a reading of your own birth chart. For important decisions, a muhurtam or a family matter, please confirm with your priest.
Which nakshatras fall in Makara rashi?
Uttara Ashadha 2–4 · Shravana · Dhanishta 1–2. Your rashi is the sign the Moon was in when you were born; it is not the same as the western Sun sign. Ruled by Saturn.
